About me
My name is Gabriel Reiser, I'm a professional software and web developer as well as an accomplished graphic designer with over 8 years experience developing n-Tier applications, web sites, communities, and video games.
I currently run a game development studio out of my home called Reiser Games (http://www.reisergames.com) developing XBox 360 games. I used to run Reactor 3D Game Engine (and site) at http://www.reactor3d.com but after careful assessment of Microsoft's XBox Live Indie Games service, I deemed my project to costly to continue to maintain while also focusing on building games with it so I closed it. Reactor 3D Game Engine is still kept in-house at Reiser Games but it's no longer available online as an open source game engine.
I recently worked on a desktop product called Glo (http://www.bibleglo.com) where I was responsible for developing rendering code and WPF-Uber-Programming for Glo's core codebase. That lovely Timeline and Topical lenses inside Glo are my brainchild's.
I have 10 years experience writing code, from Visual Basic, C/C++, C#, WPF, Silverlight, Actionscript 3.0, Java, Javascript, PHP, and recently - Grails. I also design using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash.
I'm fluent in Direct X API's and HLSL shading languages and have developed many 3D applications for a variety of purposes.
In February, 2009, I released my first XBox 360 game called "Alchemist" ( http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8... ) which was written in Reactor 3D in 30 days spare time (15 hours total).
I'm also working on a new community site called GFX-ONLINE which I hope to have up and running sometime in late December.
